Arrow Exploration CEO Marshall Abbott talked with Proactive at the One2One Investor Forum about the company’s oil production growth, drilling programme, exploration opportunities in Colombia and its plans to pursue acquisitions in both Colombia and Canada. Abbott said that Arrow Exploration had built up a significant inventory of exploration and development opportunities, supported by five successful exploration wells that have generated around 50 development well locations. The company is producing more than 6,000 barrels of oil per day and is targeting 7,000 barrels per day, with further development potentially taking production beyond that level. Abbott also highlighted Arrow Exploration’s financial position, saying the company has no debt, approximately $22 million in cash and monthly cash flow of between $5 million and $6 million. It also has access to a $20 million prepayment facility provided by BP. A key focus is securing an extension to the company’s Colombian block, with Abbott describing discussions as constructive and saying Arrow Exploration wants an extension covering the life of the field rather than a short-term renewal.
